For Sale: 1970 Cougar XR-7 interior parts

Front seats, rear seats, door panels, and rear side panels. Interior color is med brown, been told it is called tobacco. Front seats are in great condition drivers seat shows some wear and has a small nick in the vinyl on the outside. The seats have been stored in a dry area out of the sun since the late 70's. The bottom of the rear seat is like new, backrest has a small repairable tear on top, door panels are set up for pw and door speakers, drivers side has a tear that is repairable. Door panels do have some small nicks, rear side panels are in great shape. Asking $550.00 for all. Cougar parts guys asking $800.00 for just the seats in this condition. This is a true Eliminator, numbers matching on engine, transmission and rear end housing. Vehicle has had a complete frame up restoration. 351 C engine completely rebuilt with power improvements (4 barrel, intake manifold,headers, modern ignition, stainless steel dual exhaust, etc.), 4 spd. transmission completely rebuilt, 3.50 limited slip rear end, new tires and Magnum 500 wheels, interior completely redone, all Eliminator trim and emblems included, stainless steel brake and fuel lines, brake system and suspension system rebuilt or new, undercarriage was epoxy painted. Over 30K in parts receipts, extra parts included. Car has won many awards and best of shows, was displayed at Carlisle Cougar feature. Car looks and runs great.

For Sale: 1969 Mercury Cougar

We are the second owners!!! We have the window sticker and original owner’s manual. It was supposed to be for the car dealer’s son but the son misbehaved and Dad sold “his car” to our friend’s grandmother. Everything on the car is original and numbers matching. We have the maintenance card and a Marti Report. It has the original 351 Windsor motor with less than 100,000 miles on the odometer. It has a standard FMX automatic transmission. I have a C6 transmission that I was going to put in it that I will throw in. The Cougars of that year had a “Sports Special Package” available. This car has Sports Package B. It has the unique bullet rocker moldings, turbine wheel covers and remote control left side mirror. It also has the Décor Interior. It has a rim-blow horn with wood-rim steering wheel. It has a crack in the dash pad but I have a black dash pad in almost perfect condition (A Quality rated) to go with it. The vinyl on the roof is gone and the roof is rusted but I have a replacement roof to go with it, just needs to be put on-the replacement roof has been sandblasted in the key areas in preparation to be put on. I also have a set of hubcaps with an imprinted cougar on them. The car is drivable as it sits. It does need a rear pinion seal but I may have that replaced by the time someone wants to buy it. We have a couple extra steering wheel pads to go with it. We also have a right hand mirror for it.

Free: 1970 Cougar parts in Saskatchewan

I had started to restore a 1970 cougar but found that the frame/body were too far gone to continue. I have a bunch of parts that are good and some of them I am prepared to give away because I am moving and won’t have room for them at my new place. I will give away the hood, trunk, passenger door (driver door isn’t worth getting for free), bumpers, dash (no cracks), passenger seat (no tears or wear). I also have really good door panels and back seat parts and will give them away.
If I can’t find someone willing to take this stuff by Friday (4-19), I will likely have to send most of it to the dump. I hate to see it not get used, but just can’t store it anymore. If you could pass this on to your members, maybe there is someone that would be interested.
